It's been a long while since Ghalya posted anything new on our website, forums or any of it's communities. We are going to come back very soon, we hope you shall support this cause, this year make it grow!

Break this cage..

Walking in a silent mode so alone today,
She wanted to break this cage ages ago,
Yet those voices kept controlling her,
Difficult to escape that vicious cycle,
Looked down upon and never loved,
Deprived of being understood for once,
Stereotyped and taken for granted again,
It’s always about them and never her,
She was folded like a sheet of paper,
Used like a commodity for pleasure,
Raped one night, deprived of honour,
Stranded in the cold and left to rot,
Society rejects me now, calling me low,
Unworthy of respect and any shelter,
Ghaliylah, it’s time to break free away,
You stayed behind, sacrificing yourself,
Never noticed, treated like a doll everyday

Betrayed - a poem [ through the eyes of a victim]

I feel betrayed by all those who I cared for,
I feel torn apart by all those who I loved,
I feel such pain within my soul so deep,
I wish you were more honest about yourself,
And clear of your intentions,
Why don't you stop playing games,
Stop pretending,
Because it hurts the one you loved you,
I am suffocated coz I can not speak,
I am sick of your lies and betrayal,
I am sick of givin you chances everyday,
I am sick of being scared by your presence,
This was not what I wished for,
I wish you were more honest and sincere.
I feel betrayed by the word 'care'.
